Automotive Testing Expo · Novi, Michigan
Automotive TestingExpo content forengineering brands.
This is the hardest automotive floor to film well, because the product is often a sensor, a rig, or a software window rather than a car. Cross X Agency travels to Novi for test and validation suppliers and builds the coverage around explanation: what the equipment measures, why the measurement matters, and who at your company can say it clearly to an engineer who already knows the subject.

What to captureat a technical expo.
An engineering audience forgives plain and punishes vague. The coverage that performs here is close, accurate, and narrated by someone who can defend every sentence in a technical review.
Instrumentation in close detail
Sensors, load cells, data acquisition hardware, cabling, and rig fixturing filmed tight enough to read connector types and labelling.
Screen and data capture done properly
Software interfaces and live data recorded cleanly rather than filmed off a monitor at an angle, so plots and values stay legible.
Engineering explainers, not slogans
Your application engineer walking through the measurement chain, the tolerance, or the validation step, in language a peer respects.
OEM and Tier 1 conversations
Short recorded conversations with the engineers evaluating your equipment, captured with consent and reviewed before anything is published.
Conference session capture
Your speaker's session covered where organizer permission allows, delivered as a clean recording plus short quote clips for the year ahead.
Assets that outlive the expo
A library of technical b-roll and explainer cuts that keeps serving your sales engineers, trade press, and product pages long after October.
Before, during,and after the expo.
Technical coverage is only as good as the preparation behind it. We agree the terminology, the claims you are allowed to make, and who signs off on accuracy before the camera is switched on, so nothing needs re-shooting after legal review.

Before
Terminology and claims agreed
What each product does, the wording your team will stand behind, the confidentiality boundaries, and who is available on camera.
During
Quiet, close, accurate
Detail and screen capture in the low-traffic windows, explainers and interviews when the right engineer is free rather than when the schedule says so.
After
Review before release
Cuts sent for technical review, then finished files delivered to a Google Drive under your account for sales, press, and product use.

Any package can add creator talent. We book niche creators and presenters directly for show week, like automotive creators Caden Underwood, whose client reels have reached up to 4.9M views, and Angelica Gavia (@bk2.dory). They can walk your booth, demo your products, and appear on camera in your place if you or your team are not available or would rather stay off camera, and your products show up in their feeds while the show is still open.
Before you book.
You are based in Las Vegas. How does travel work?
Travel and lodging for the crew are quoted as a separate line in the proposal, so the coverage scope and the travel cost stay readable. Once the dates are booked we hold them, plan the shoot remotely with your team, and arrive ahead of load-in.
Do you handle credentials and filming permission?
We work from your exhibitor allocation. You add the crew to your exhibitor credentials and confirm any media access with show management, and we plan the shoot around exactly what that allows. We never claim access we have not been granted.
Our equipment is under NDA with an OEM. Can you still film?
Yes, with boundaries set in writing first. We mark which rigs, screens, and part numbers are off limits, shoot around them, and deliver only what your team has cleared. If something confidential ends up in a frame, it is cut before delivery rather than after publication.
Who owns the finished files?
You do. Finished videos and edited photos are delivered to a Google Drive under your account with no watermarks. The Convention Takeover also includes the full raw footage library.
Plan Novicoverage early.
Send your stand number, the products you are showing, and the engineer who can explain them. We will come back with a three day coverage plan, a review step, and a separate travel line.
