SoCal Drive Experience · Orange County
SoCal DriveExperience contentfor brands.
The OC Auto Show is becoming the SoCal Drive Experience, launching in spring 2027 at a new venue with a heavy emphasis on actually driving the vehicles. For a camera crew that is a real upgrade: an outdoor, motion-first event produces footage a convention hall never will. Cross X Agency drives to Orange County for aftermarket, off-road, and lifestyle brands and plans the coverage around movement rather than stands.

What to captureat a drive event.
A static show gives you a good-looking vehicle. A drive event gives you a vehicle doing something, which is worth far more on every platform you post to.
Vehicles actually moving
On-road and off-road runs covered with tracking and static angles, so your product appears in motion rather than parked under a banner.
Off-road capability coverage
Articulation, traction, recovery gear, and underbody protection filmed in use on the off-road course where access permits.
Cars and Coffee culture
The social side of the event covered honestly, which is the content that makes a brand look like part of the community rather than a sponsor.
Build walkarounds between runs
Clean detail and walkaround coverage in the gaps, so you finish the weekend with product footage as well as action footage.
Aerial coverage where permitted
Drone coverage of the course and event footprint, flown only where organizer and site permissions allow it.
Driver and owner reactions
Short, real reactions from people who just drove the vehicle, which is the most persuasive testimonial an outdoor event can produce.
Before, during,and after the event.
A first-year event with an unannounced venue needs a flexible plan and an early conversation. We build the coverage around the format the organizers have described and confirm specifics as the venue and dates are published.

Before
Format planned, window held
Which vehicles you are bringing, whether they are on the drive courses, the aerial and access permissions to pursue, and a held spring window.
During
Motion first, detail second
Drive and course coverage while vehicles are running, walkarounds and interviews in the gaps between sessions.
After
An action library you own
Finished cuts including driving footage plus edited stills, delivered to a Google Drive under your account.
Three ways tocover the show.
Same three coverage packages as our Las Vegas shows. Orange County is a drive rather than a flight, so the travel line is smaller, and drone coverage is scoped separately where permissions allow.

Any package can add creator talent. We book niche creators and presenters directly for show week, like automotive creators Caden Underwood, whose client reels have reached up to 4.9M views, and Angelica Gavia (@bk2.dory). They can walk your booth, demo your products, and appear on camera in your place if you or your team are not available or would rather stay off camera, and your products show up in their feeds while the show is still open.
Before you book.
Who is this coverage built for?
Aftermarket and accessory brands, custom and restoration builders, wrap, tint, and detail studios, parts and equipment vendors, and brands running an activation on the floor. We produce content for exhibitors and displays. We do not take dealership work.
The dates are not final yet. Can we still plan?
Yes, and planning early is the advantage. We hold a tentative crew window against the organizer announcement, build the coverage plan around your display, and confirm the exact days as soon as show management publishes them. Nothing is invoiced against dates that do not exist.
Do you handle credentials and filming permission?
We work from your exhibitor allocation. You add the crew to your exhibitor credentials and confirm any media access with show management, and we plan the shoot around exactly what that allows. We never claim access we have not been granted.
Who owns the finished files?
You do. Finished videos and edited photos are delivered to a Google Drive under your account with no watermarks. The Convention Takeover also includes the full raw footage library.

A first-year event is the cheapest one to stand out at. Tell us what you are bringing and whether it will be on the drive courses, and we will plan the coverage and hold a spring window.
